Hospitalist

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking family physicians to join the Collaborative Inpatient Care team at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. This position focuses on high-quality, patient centered care and is supported by a multidisciplinary team.
- 10 hours of daily in-hospital coverage for 1 in 3 weeks per year
- Excellent compensation package
- A caseload around 18-22 patients with a mix of acute and stable patients
- After hours admissions support
- Emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, education and transition of care planning
The ideal candidates will:
- Be Family Medicine (CCFP) trained
- Be eligible for an independent license with the CPSS
- Canadian Permanent Residency or be a Canadian citizen
- Possess exceptional interpersonal & collaborative skills, be dedicated to service excellence, and a strong team player.
Participation in training of residents/medical students is also desirable.
The Pasqua Hospitalist Program operates 105 beds at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan. We offer an array of specialized acute, complex continuing care, allied health and ambulatory care services including:
- Social work and pharmacist services integrated into each unit team
- Full spectrum of specialists available 24/7 as well as CT, MRI and interventional radiology
- 10 bed closed Intensive Care Unit
- Medical Surveillance Unit (telemetry/ICU step-down unit)
