Emergency Medicine Practice at Bluewater Health
The Emergency Department at Bluewater Health manages over 60,000 patient visits annually, offering a broad case mix with consistent exposure to high-acuity and diverse pathology. Physicians work within a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment with strong consultant backup and modern diagnostic capabilities.
Preferred qualifications include CCFP(EM), FRCPC, ABEM, or extensive Emergency Medicine experience, along with ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Locum arrangements can be supported to allow candidates to assess clinical fit and community life before transitioning to full-time privileges.

Emergency Medicine Mentorship Program (CCFP Graduates)
Bluewater Health offers a 6–12 month Emergency Medicine Mentorship Program for motivated early-career physicians interested in transitioning into independent Emergency Department practice.
The program provides tailored clinical exposure and mentorship to build confidence across the full scope of Emergency Department care, strengthen procedural skills, and support high-acuity decision-making. The goal is to support committed physicians in progressing to independent practice and long-term membership within the Emergency Physician group.
