Alberta Health Services, South Zone is currently seeking full time Family Physicians primarily in the Community of Lethbridge, Alberta; these positions are for an estimated .30FTE commitment to various services within the Chinook Regional Hospital:
Consultative work which may include:
-long term care provision at AHS and Covenant sites;
-Surgical Assistance;
-Sexual Assault Response team coverage (SART);
-Pain management;
-MAiD;
-Low Risk Obstetrics;
-Hospitalist Locum;
-Child & Adolescent Mental Health (Additional Training Required)
The remaining FTE commitment (.70) will be within a Community Family Practice.
The successful candidate must:
-be CPSA EligibleGeneral register or;
CPSA Eligibility Letter for AHS Sponsorship
-have TDM Exam complete and passed (if applicable)
-provide Proof of full immunization against COVID-19 as per AHS Policy #1189 IMMUNIZATION OF WORKERS FOR COVID-1
-Certification in specialty areas preferred (Child & Adolescent Mental Health etc.)
-Preference will be given to Canadian-trained and/or equivalently trained physicians
