We are urgently seeking Locums for Hospitalist at BRH for January-June 2026.

Blanche River Health Hospital is located in the beautiful community of Kirkland Lake, which is home to a growing population of over 10,000 residents. In 2020, the hospital amalgamated with Englehart District Hospital, located approximately 30 minutes away, forming a unified healthcare organization serving both communities. We are situated 1.5 hours from Timmins or 6.5 hours from Toronto
Accommodation
Beautiful all furnished accommodation is available for you and your family within 5 minutes from the hospital. There is a new Microtel with pool and gym or the new Ramada Inn with both Hospital discount within a few minutes as well. We also have two comfortable layover rooms within hospital for use overnight if required.

Description/Duties
Hospitalists are responsible for the Intensive Care Unit (4 bed ICU, 2 step-down)
Average of 10-15 patients per hospitalist (mix of alc and acute)
Two hospitalists model with alternating on call for admissions and overnight
Rotation begins Saturday at 08:00 until Saturday at 08:00
ER opportunities during locum may also be available (not required)
Our Kirkland Lake site has 48 medical/surgical beds plus 4 ICU beds and 2 step-down beds, 24 hour emergency department, general surgery, anesthesia, visiting specialists, diagnostic imaging department with a CT scanner, laboratory services, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy (with on-site chemo mixing), a satellite oncology clinic (via OTN through HSN), mental health, palliative care, CCAC, victim services and VCC.
